About Dr. Ryu

In 1984 David T. H. Ryu, M.D. F.A.C.S. started his private practice in Springfield. Dr. Ryu is board certified in Head and Neck Surgery, with special interest in Facial Plastic Surgery.

In 1991 he built an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Bellefontaine Ohio and became certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. The Surgery Center is licensed by State Health Department of Ohio and certified by Medicare.

Dr. Ryu completed his residency in General Surgery at St Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. His residency trainings in Otolaryngology were from University of Minnesota School of Medicine and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City.

Dr. Ryu is active staff member at Community Mercy Health Parters in Springfield, Ohio and Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Department of Surgery at Wright State University and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
